Dr. Kara is a chiropractor and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who focuses on pregnancy, postpartum and pediatric care. She is Webster Technique certified and treats moms and babies as a team.

Is lactation support covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans cover lactation support, which is why many families are able to get help with little or no out-of-pocket cost. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so use the benefits-check link on this page and we'll help you from there.
Are the diastasis recti and C-section scar assessments really free?
Yes. They are offered at no charge. Choose a time that works for you and mention which assessment you'd like when you book.
Is chiropractic care safe for newborns and babies?
Care for babies is very gentle and adapted to their size and age. Dr. Kara evaluates your baby first and will only recommend what is appropriate. If something calls for a referral, she'll tell you.
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Dr. Kara is Webster Technique certified and reviews your pregnancy history before any care. Techniques are adapted to your trimester, and if anything calls for a second opinion she'll refer you to your OB or midwife.
Where do you see patients?
In Livermore at 1457 1st Street on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, and in Danville at 199 E. Linda Mesa Ave., Suite 12 on other days.
